Borneol

Borneol, of the Dyptercarpaceae family, is an aromatic substance that opens the orifices. This cooling substance has a similar consistency and pungency to that of Menthol Crystals, no doubt due to its similar chemical composition. However, they are used for different purposes. Borneol is acrid and bitter, and enters the heart, Lung, and Spleen meridians.
