Commonly called Artemisia or Anomala, the portions of this herb are bitter with a warm energy. Anomala is very similar to its cousin Artemisia Argyi, Mugwort.

Artemesia is classified as Invigorating the Blood herb, and is used for serious blood stasis, swelling, and injuries dealing with impact. Artemesia enters the Heart and Spleen meridians.
