Ligusticum Chuanxiong

Ligusticum, also known as Cnidium, and Szechwan Lovage Root is a commonly used Blood Invigorator, often times in combination with Angelica Root. This herb is acrid and warm in nature, and enters the Liver, Gallbladder, and Pericardium meridians. It is often used in dit da jow for its blood moving and regulating, and pain reducing properties.
