Tangerine Peel, or Citrus Peel, is in the category of herbs that regulate Qi. This aromatic herb is acrid and bitter in flavor and exhibits a warming energy. Tangerine Peel is unlike many Chinese Herbs in that the quality of this herb increases the longer it is aged. Our standard Chen Pi is quite old and of excellent quality. We also now stock specially aged Chen Pi which is aged 3 or more years beyond the standard aging time.
