The Mulberry Twig, along with its familiar family member Sang Ji Sheng, are effective Wind-Damp dispelling herbs. While Sang Ji Sheng is a bone and tendon strengthening herb, Sang Zhi primarily dispels Wind while opening the channels and collaterals, but also regulates water circulation and reduces swelling. Sang Zhi enters the Liver meridian, and has a bitter taste with neutral energy, making it versatile.

Unprocessed Sang Zhi has a slow and moderate action which is enhanced by processing. While we sell this herb in its unprocessed raw state, we would be happy to properly process this herb upon request.
