Dipsaci Asperi

The Chinese name translates as "Heal Fracture", describing its main Traditional purpose. Dipsacus, also called Teasel root in North America, is bitter and pungent and exhibits slightly warm properties. Dipsacus root is another of the yang tonic herbs; while less tonifying than Du Zhong, it also has blood moving properties and will not cause stagnation.
