The Pine Nodular Brach, or simply Pine Branch is perhaps one of the most common Chinese herbs available in nature throughout the world. With over 105 accepted species of Pine worldwide, Pine Trees are one of the most abundant ingredients available. Classified as an herb that Dispels Wind and Dampness, Pine Branch is bitter and warm, and operates on the Liver Meridian. It is used for pain and inflammation due to Bi-Blockage, the obstruction of Blood and Qi as well as external injury.

Pine also has a pleasantly fresh but subtle aroma which makes it a nice addition to some dit da jow liniments.
